Trump reposts attacks on Miami Republican Rep. María Elvira Salazar, calls for her replacement before Nov. 3

President Donald Trump reposted more than a dozen attacks on Miami Republican Rep. María Elvira Salazar on Truth Social, demanding Republicans replace her before the Nov. 3 election.
The posts came days after Trump had reaffirmed support for Salazar’s reelection. The district covers parts of Miami-Dade County and is held by Republicans.
The confrontation began Sept. 16, when Salazar released a campaign ad filmed outside the White House. In the ad, Salazar said Trump’s immigration crackdown had gone too far and warned that Hispanic voters who backed Trump felt betrayed by his deportation policies.
Those comments drew a direct response from Trump, who used his Truth Social account to amplify criticism of Salazar. The reposted messages called for Republicans to remove her from the ballot before Election Day.
Salazar’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump remains popular among many Republican voters in the district, while Salazar has sought to appeal to Hispanic voters alarmed by mass deportations.
The Nov. 3 general election will determine who represents Florida’s 27th Congressional District, which includes Miami Beach and parts of central Miami-Dade.
